The Bay Business Association

Building Business in the Bay

Join us for the launch of the Bay Business Association on Wednesday, 30 April between 17:00 and 20:00

The Bay Business Association is managed by a dedicated team of volunteers focussed on supporting everyone from new-start and freelance businesses to established local companies and charitable organisations across Yaverland, Sandown, Lake, Shanklin, and Luccombe.

As an organisation we are committed to promoting The Bay as a thriving, resilient, and dynamic place to live, work, and visit.

By working together as a business community, we are better able to share our knowledge, experience and expertise to help every local business succeed, irrespective of size, sector and length of time established.

The key benefits from joining the BBA

Insights

As a member, our regular communications via e-mail, e-newsletters, at meetings and networking events work to keep you better informed and provide you with important information that can help you to make more informed decisions, identify opportunities and stay ahead of your competition.

Partnerships

The BBA can help you to develop new business partnerships, through our events, promotional opportunities and direct introductions.  Partnerships that can help you unlock potential and reduce costs through collaboration, innovation, new sources of supply and resource sharing. Helping you to achieve your goals faster.

Networking

Our business networking events provide the perfect relaxed environment for you to build your reputation and business connections. To meet like-minded people, establish new collaborations, overcome barriers, seize opportunities and accelerate the success of your business.

Workshops

Short business workshops, which will be exclusive to BBA members provide the perfect opportunity for you and your team to acquire new skills and the practical knowledge essential to improving efficiency, deliver innovation and improve business competitiveness.

Funding

Thanks to the BBA’s close involvement with the Bay Place Plan, our members gain early access to information on funding and grant opportunities – including council and government support. By working alongside the Bay Place Plan, we’re actively identifying ways to support local businesses and bring more resources into our community.

Courses

At the Bay Business Association our training courses on essential business skills add to our business workshops. Delivered by content experts, these courses work to boost the capability and understanding for your business in key areas such as marketing, business management, finance and more.

Join the BBA today to connect, collaborate, and strengthen your business opportunities within our thriving community.
